About LDS Discussions
LDS Discussions is Mormon Stories’ flagship truth-claims series, co-hosted by John Dehlin and Mike of ldsdiscussions.com. Episode by episode, it works systematically through the historical and doctrinal issues facing the LDS Church: the First Vision, the Book of Mormon translation, the Book of Abraham, polygamy, the temple, church finances, and much more, always anchored in primary sources and church-published materials.
The series began in April 2022 and continues with new episodes. It is meant to be heard in order, and every episode pairs with a written essay on ldsdiscussions.com that lays out the sources in full.
LDS Discussions is produced by Mormon Stories Podcast and the Open Stories Foundation. Every episode is also published in the main Mormon Stories feed.
